Guy Dru DruryGuy Dru Drury

Guy Dru Drury is the chief representative for the CBI in China. He established the CBI's Beijing Office in January 2006. From 2001 to 2005 he worked as global business development director for two professional services firms in Shanghai and London.

Guy's professional career has focused on China and Asia Pacific, including a two year stint in Chengdu as a partner in a private consultancy (1998-2000), and extended periods in SE Asia and Australasia as an investment project manager for London's inward investment agency, Think London.

Guy graduated from Leeds University with a BA in Modern Chinese Studies in 1991 and has a postgraduate diploma in advanced Chinese from Teachers University (Taipei). He is a fluent Chinese speaker and lives in Beijing.

Ben CooperBen Cooper

Ben Cooper is a policy analyst in the CBI's Beijing representative office where he manages research and projects covering a wide range of sectors in China. He completed an undergraduate degree in East Asian studies and political science at Tufts University and a master's degree in comparative politics at the LSE.

 

Nile ZhengNile Zheng

Nile Zheng joined the CBI Beijing Office in August 2006 as Executive Assistant. She is in charge of the day-to-day administrative work, maintaining member database, organising meetings/events/visits and also support the China team in many other aspects.

Nile graduated from University of International Business and Economics with a BA in Business English.
