initiative, builds on our strong international policy work driven
by our HQ in London and supported by our network of offices in
Washington, Beijing and Brussels.

The CBI's office in Delhi reinforces our commitment to enhancing bilateral trade and investment between India and the UK and furthering the interests of our member companies. We are working closely with the UKIBC (UK-India Business Council), the British High Commission and our Indian counterpart organisations and other representative British business groups. We have been actively involved in working with both governments and the respective business communities on the Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO), to help enhance trade and investment. In addition we are closely engaged with the UK India Roundtable and the UK government's Asia Taskforce.

- Our presence in Delhi, and the access this provides to the CBI's proven lobbying and policy expertise, is an asset for Indian businesses increasingly looking to invest and trade in the UK
