The CBI’s hugely successful 2016 London Autumn Lunch saw the newly elected Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, give a keynote address to over 130 senior business leaders warning about the potential dangers of a ‘hard Brexit’ approach from Government. Annual Conference, 6th November 2017

Global Growth Conference, 13th November, 2017
Following decades of underperformance, the UK government is refocusing its efforts to grow the number of small and medium-sized businesses exporters, taking advantage of international trading opportunities in markets old and new. Government Affairs

Thames Valley Annual Dinner
Join us for the CBI’s flagship event in the Thames Valley in September 2017 which will bring together senior business leaders from across the region to network, hear the latest insights and entertain clients. The 2016 dinner saw over 230 people join us the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. Economic Forecast Briefing Series
The CBI’s economics analysis team draws on both our surveys and intelligence from members (operating in the UK and abroad) to produce regular assessments of economic conditions. As part of this we are planning on running two events in 2017 which will see a senior colleague for our economics team provide an update on latest economic developments, and the CBI’s forecasts for growth ahead. Policy Director Roundtable Series
In 2017 the CBI will continue to run its successful Policy Director Roundtable series, which will provide an opportunity for Directors in each of the above policy areas to give an overview of what they are currently working on and how they are interacting with both businesses and the Government to make progress in these areas.
