Neil is CBI Managing Director of People & Infrastructure

Neil leads the CBI's work on issues related to two great enablers of growth in the UK – people and skills, and infrastructure.

Spanning work on the labour market, employment, education, skills, energy, climate change, housing and transport, his team campaigns on behalf of CBI members for a business environment that promotes investment and good jobs.

Neil is a member of the council of ACAS and of the Low Pay Commission, which makes recommendations about the level of the National Minimum Wage. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.

Neil joined the CBI in 2004, after completing a postgraduate degree at the London School of Economics in industrial relations. Before this, he worked as an HR consultant for a number of major financial institutions.
