Ensuring a sustainable construction sector
The CBI construction council believes the
construction sector has a vital role in helping reduce carbon
emissions from buildings and making infrastructure climate
resilient. The investment needed in low-carbon power plants alone
(£150bn of private sector funding) represents a tremendous
opportunity for the construction sector to help drive the
transition to a low carbon economy.
