Championing a healthy and competitive audit market
What we do
The CBI lobbies the Department of Business and Financial Reporting Council in the UK, as well as EU institutions, to ensure a healthy and competitive audit market. The CBI believes that ensuring resilience in the audit market, delivering high quality audits and ensuring choice of auditors for firms should be the priorities for regulators, whilst minimising the cost of audit to business.
