The UK Bribery Act 2010 is one of the toughest pieces of anti-bribery legislation in the world
The Act introduced a new corporate offence of failure to prevent bribery by people working for your company and those working through your network of business relationships. The CBI lobbied the MoJ, BIS and the SFO to ensure that the guidance to the Act was as workable for business as it could be. We are monitoring the impact of the Act on UK competitiveness.
