Working with the sectors to tackle climate change
Whether through developing low-carbon technologies, increasing
the energy efficiency of supply chains, buildings or transport
fleets, climate change initiatives pioneered by trade associations
add significant value to CBI's efforts to help UK businesses across
all sectors tackle climate change.
With some 150 trade associations in membership - from business and
financial services to transport and construction through to retail
and manufacturing - CBI is collaborating with trade associations to
facilitate best practice, help share ideas and stimulate
change.
The CBI offers a number of channels for trade bodies to feed into
its work on climate change, including via a series of climate
change sectoral exchange breakfasts.
