International taxes

These include all international taxes, including domestic levies with an international angle, and are dealt with by the International Taxes Working Group

This group monitors developments in the international tax field and takes appropriate action where necessary, following reference back to the Taxation Committee. 

The chairman of this group, the chairman of the Taxation Committee and the head of the CBI's Tax and Fiscal Policy Group are the CBI-nominated representatives of BIAC's Fiscal Affairs Committee where, as reported by BIAC staff, the CBI is the leading international contributor to the formulation of BIAC tax policy. This group also interrelates with the Tax Policy Group of Business Europe.

  • OECD Model Tax Convention developments (including commentary)
