For manufacturers and investment analysts: Launched in 1988, the Investment Intentions Survey draws on statistics from the Industrial Trends survey with information on purpose of investment, factors influencing investment and percentage change in the value of investment.

Our e-capture option allows you to receive, complete and submit the questionnaire online with all your details pre-populated; all survey data is managed in the strictest confidence and published only on an anonymised basis.

All businesses are welcome to take part. Our surveys cover manufacturing, retail, wholesale and motor trades, business, professional and consumer services and financial services and are conducted on a regular monthly and quarterly basis.
