It is home to both many UK and foreign owned multinationals as well as a vibrant SME sector. The CBI West Midlands region has an active programme of events for CBI members. This includes an ongoing programme of policy related workshops and seminars as well as monthly Senior Executive Lunches which provide excellent peer to peer networking opportunities. CBI membership within the region is extremely diverse comprising members from just about every industry and sector.

By road: the regional office is situated on the A456 Hagley Road, close to Five Ways Island. There is limited visitor parking at Cobalt Square - access is from Hagley Road, eastbound only. Please check with the person you are visiting. Alternatively there are public car parks in easy walking distance: the nearest is at Broadway Plaza, entrance via Ladywood Middleway
By air: train from Birmingham Airport station to Birmingham New Street (regular service, journey time 10 minutes) then a short taxi drive or local train service to Five Ways station, one station stop then a few minutes' walk up to Five Ways Island and along Hagley Road.
By rail: from Birmingham New Street, regular local train service (trains towards Longbridge and Redditch) to Five Ways station, one station stop then a few minutes' walk up to Five Ways Island and along Hagley Road
