Elif True is a driven campaigner on issues relating to young people such as religious and racial discrimination, employability skills and poverty. She is currently studying at University of York after attending a comprehensive school and Sixth-form in Newcastle.

Elif is on the board of youth advisors for Barclay’s Lifeskills, a careers programme that helps young people get the skills and experiences they need to enter the world of work. Elif has also worked with the British Youth Council, Barnardos and the Commonwealth Youth Forum.
