Siobhan Kennedy has been covering the world of business for more than 20 years from the tech bubble as a reporter for Reuters in New York to the economic boom and bust that culminated in the financial crisis. She is currently the Business Editor at Channel 4 News which she joined in 2008 and her role covers everything from the impact of Brexit on business to the rise of the gig economy, tech giants and everything else in between.
She’s won the prestigious Wincott award twice, in 2013 for her coverage of RBS and its treatment of small businesses and the conditions faced by workers in Amazon warehouses. And in 2015 for exposing the treatment of workers at suppliers to Britain’s biggest supermarkets.
She’s keen to help businesses crack Britain’s productivity puzzle but is yet to find the answer at home as a mum of 4 small boys.
