Report launch of Front of mind, the CBI's good practice guide to help employers improve health and wellbeing in their workplaces

The social conversation around people’s mental health and the effect of the UK’s ageing society on workplaces has increased over the past five years. This, alongside increasing evidence that healthy, happy and engaged staff improve company performance, makes proactively managing and supporting staff’s health and wellbeing an ever more important business issue.

This event launches Front of mind, the CBI’s good practice guide in partnership with Bupa and HCA Healthcare to help employers improve health and wellbeing in their workplaces.

We are delighted to announce that Sarah Newton MP, Minister of State for Disabled People, Health and Work will be speaking.

The event will also include a panel who will discuss their personal experience and share tips for how they are improving people’s health and wellbeing in their own organisation including:

  • Richard Washington, Director of Product and Proposition, Bupa
  • Dr. Gill MacLeod, Chief Executive Officer, Roodlane Medical and Executive Director of Primary Care, HCA Healthcare UK
  • Gregor Craig, President & CEO, Skanska UK
  • Steve Fogg, Managing Director, BAE Systems

It will also share the insights and recommendations from the guide which are based on the good practices of businesses up and down the UK.
