Our North West Annual Dinner is the highlight event in the North West business calendar bringing together around 350 senior business leaders from across the region.
We are delighted to announce our keynote speaker Gary Neville.
Gary Alexander Neville is an English football coach and former Manchester United player who until recently served as assistant manager for the England national football team, and as co-owner of Salford City.
We are now delighted to confirm that our after-dinner speaker will be Mr David Schneider. Perhaps best-known for refusing Alan Partridge’s pitch for Monkey Tennis, David Schneider has appeared in The Day Today, Friday Night Armistice, Uncle Max and Horrid Henry the Movie, and much more. He now also finds time to run a social media consultancy. With 140,000 followers on Twitter, David and his colleagues at thatlot.co.uk advise clients on digital campaigns and targeted virals, how to use social media effectively and the best way to handle instant response campaigns. David also edits the ‘Pics and Vids’ section of the Huffington Post, where he blogs about football and politics, among other things. He can occasionally be seen reviewing the papers on Sky.
After-dinner David does a condensed version of his Edinburgh show, Is the Internet Making Us More Stupider?’ He takes in everything from Facebook comments from beyond the grave to a dog that looks like Samuel L Jackson in an effort to justify his Twitter habit. He also performs his interpretation of the 2012 Olympics in just three minutes.
