This network is tailored specifically for medium-sized businesses headquartered in Northern Ireland and aims to support the growth and development of companies with a turnover above £10m.
The final session of the CBI MSB Club will be held on 15 November in Belfast with a networking breakfast for senior business executives within family-owned organisations.
Did you know that two in every three private firms are family owned, and some of the biggest global successes are multi-generational, such as Bacardi, Ferrari, Estee Lauder, Wal-Mart, and even Donald Trump!
As part of this session, BDO will present advice and guidance around tax planning for succession, and also impart some key insights from the recent BDO Family-owned Business Survey.
More than 100 FOB’s across the country, across all sectors and sizes participated in the survey. It looked to capture the experiences and concerns of family owned businesses and help give them a stronger voice on the issues important to them.
Maybeth Shaw (Partner) and Angela Keery (Director) – both family-owned business experts - will highlight the key issues arising from the survey, and how they affect FOB organisations across Northern Ireland.
CBI members will receive a copy of the report, in advance of this MSB Club.
Shared peer-to-peer learning and expert intelligence will continue to form a large part of the programme.
