Register for the next CBI People & Skills Network on 7 March 2018. This network replaces the CBI HR Forums
Announced in 2015, the Apprenticeship Levy aims to fund three million apprenticeships in the UK by 2020. It affects all organisations above a certain size, committing them to either taking on apprentices or paying a percentage fee of their PAYE wage bill.
A year on from the apprenticeship reforms, this session will review the latest intelligence, discuss feedback on how the system is working, and provide the chance for you and other CBI members across the UK, to share their training strategies for the levy. This interactive session will be led by Ed Richardson, Senior Policy Advisor, Education & Skills, CBI; and chaired by Rick Blackmore, Regional Director, CBI East Midlands.
CBI Members will receive one complementary place for a senior executive whose role encompasses a major HR function. Through a mix of shared learning and discussion, the People & Skills Network will address the key HR challenges and opportunities affecting business in the East Midlands. Join us to forge new connections, gain thought-provoking insights and celebrate business success.
If you are unable to attend this session, and would like to send another senior executive in your place, please let us know. Space is limited, so early registration is highly recommended.
