Join us at the next SME Network event in London, which will focus on exporting & trade.

The CBI is currently working with the UK Government to strengthen the UK’s export performance and improve support for businesses in trading worldwide. This event will be used to gather intelligence from members around the challenges they are facing with exporting, with the discussion contributing to a report the CBI will be launching on this topic in June. Will McGarrigle, the CBI’s Senior International Policy Adviser, will also speak at the event, discussing the themes of the CBI report which include export finance, in-market support, infrastructure and skills.

The SME Network, a forum for small and medium sized businesses, replaces the CBI’s MSB Club events. SME Network events are designed for CBI member companies who are on a clear strategic growth path; from ambitious and confident firms driving into the mid-market, through to successful mid-market firms who continually champion innovation and competitiveness. The objective is to share knowledge and best practice whilst also helping to influence the wider policy debate. Attendees can expect practical guidance through a mix of thought-provoking case studies, group discussion and collaborative networking.

This event is only open to members of the CBI. To find out more about membership, or to book a place, please email laura.dowling@cbi.org.uk
