Infrastructure survey

Political uncertainty holding back transformational progress on infrastructure - CBI/URS

The survey findings show that despite promising improvements to infrastructure policy during this Parliament, political uncertainty means the UK is still some way off delivering the transformational upgrades the country needs.

Now in its fourth year, this annual survey provides a unique perspective on the current state of the UK’s infrastructure, highlighting businesses’ concerns about the quality and cost of the UK’s infrastructure networks and how this impacts their investment decisions.

The results from this year’s survey were covered widely by the national print, digital and broadcast media and provide the statistical underpinning for the CBI’s submission to the 2014 Autumn Statement and our messages to all political parties in the run up to the next general election.
