From the roads and railways that transport our goods, to the homes people live in and the broadband that keeps us connected, infrastructure provides the essential foundations business needs to deliver jobs, growth and prosperity for all.
Important decisions have been taken over the past year on transformational projects such as Hinkley, HS2 and Heathrow. Now, at the start of a new Parliament, it is crucial that we continue to deliver the infrastructure that the UK needs at pace in order to drive growth in all parts of the country. This will be even more crucial as the UK begins its exit from the EU.
The government’s approach to infrastructure must be one that meets the needs of every sector of the economy, and business needs to have a voice at this crucial point in the political cycle. Indeed, following this historic election, the views of business are more important than ever.
That's why we'd like to invite you to take part in this year's CBI/AECOM infrastructure survey. With your feedback, we can talk to government about your priorities. Your responses will help to shape the infrastructure agenda, on a local and national basis, over the next few years.
