CBI members urged to plan staffing during Olympics

London commuters

The CBI's 2012 forum met today to look at how to enable staff to work without disruption during this summer's London Olympics.

The speakers - Ben Plowden, director Better Routes and Places, Transport for London; Peter Lockyer, assistant director at ACAS London; and Johanna Hegarty, director Business Readiness London 2012 at BT - gave an expert overview of the key staffing issues that a company should be aware of and how to manage them.

Members were urged to consider areas including travelling to and from work, staff leave and volunteering for the Games.
