Discussions with Parliament on Corporate Governance Green Paper
In a meeting with the office of Ashley Fox MEP, the CBI highlighted its support for the 'comply or explain' model
The CBI met the office of Ashley Fox MEP, Rapporteur on the Corporate Governance green paper, to discuss the likely next steps on this important subject.
During the meeting, the CBI reiterated its position in favour of "comply or explain", and against having employees on remuneration boards. Solvency II, Credit Rating Agencies and CRD IV were also discussed in broad themes and timelines. The CBI will continue to highlight these issues in discussions with Parliament.
