Reserve your place or register your interest at http://www.cbi2009conference.org.uk/index.asp Events supported by CBIBVCA CEO Awards 14 October Human Capital Awards 15 October Growing Business Awards 26 November2009 Energy Saving Trust Fleet Hero AwardsThe Energy Saving Trust Fleet Hero Awards is an annual event which recognises businesses that have gone the extra mile to reduce carbon emissions from their fleet operations.Funded by the Department for Transport and supported by CBI, the 2009 competition opens on 24 June and entrants have two months to submit a 250 word application explaining why they are a fleet hero. The winners will be announced at a prestigious networking event in central London in November and profiled in a special supplement in the Guardian, the official media partner. CBI is proud to be supporting this year's initiative and we will be hosting information on our climate change micro site for the duration of the campaign. Visit www.guardian.co.uk/fleetheroes2009 to find out how you can become a 2009 Energy Saving Trust Fleet Hero. Search for the Best UK Innovator begins2009 sees the 6th annual Best Innovator Award. The competition seeks to recognise those organisations that lead the field in innovation management, and to identify what it takes to be the best.To date over 1000 European organisations have participated in the contest, including BMW, Danone, Smith&Nephew and Credit Suisse. This year the focus will be on the theme Sustainable Innovation Management Impact of the Financial Crisis , and will celebrate those organisations that have been most successful in managing innovation during the downturn. The winners will be publicly recognised and announced in the CBI's magazine Business Voice.
