The road to recovery: A new Industrial Strategy
In a report adopted on Wednesday 25 November, MEPs adopted a blueprint for a new Industrial Strategy to revise the original initiative published in March to take into account the impact of the pandemic on European industries and NextGegerationEU. The new Strategy aims to prioritise helping achieve climate-neutrality, deliver on the European Green Deal, manage the twin green and digital transitions, and create high-quality jobs, with particular investment in pharmaceuticals and digital technology. While championing the motives behind the dual transition, CBI stresses that the focus should never lose sight of business and its changing needs in recovering from the pandemic.
