A mad year in politics now ends with a government in place with the largest majority since the early Blair years. As Carolyn pointed out on her tour of tv and radio studios in the aftermath, the result offers some hope that a 3-year period of uncertainty could finally end. For infrastructure, this could mean more investment in networks across the country and a chance to get ourselves on course for our net zero target.
