The construction industry is the second least digitalised industry in the UK. And over half of all construction projects cost more and take longer than they should.
Building Information Modelling, or BIM, could change that. It digitalises all project information, documentation and data, helping all parties involved collaborate, develop and test the most appropriate design on the computer before it’s built – and share precise information about components during construction, which reduces the risk of errors and waste.
