The CBI had a busy month as COVID-19 restrictions remain our top priority. We are working across government to ensure business has a voice on everything from TTP to PPE.
When the First Minister announces the outcome of the review of COVID-19 restrictions on 14 July, we expect to see a phased reduction to restrictions, and we have lobbied for alignment with England whenever it is safe to do so. We are also focusing on economic recovery, and we’ve met both the Minister for Economy and Secretary of State for Wales where we highlighted, among other things, the need for continued business support and certainty over how the Shared Prosperity Fund would help grow the Welsh economy.
