An Audience with Lord Karan Bilimoria, President, CBI

Join CBI President, Lord Karan Bilimoria CBE, DL, for the launch of an insightful and informative survey report on the future of work - a partnership between CBI Economics and Nexus (University of Leeds), which examines the impact of COVID-19 on innovation, investment, work collaboration, use of workspace and future ways of working.

With an estimated sample of over 300 entrepreneurs, board and executive committee members, covering a range of sectors, such as services, manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, education and construction, this compelling study aims to provide a fresh data-driven perspective on the impact of COVID-19 on the future of work.

This online webinar is to enable an engaging dialogue around the findings from the survey and to explore what it means for businesses and stakeholders.

Key issues to be discussed during the session will include:

  • How has COVID-19 impacted innovation in your business and what are the current barriers?
  • To what extent are your investment plans in technology going to have to change to facilitate hybrid working?
  • What flexible working options has your organisation implemented or considered?
  • Compared to pre-pandemic, how often do you expect your staff to travel to business meetings in the future (i.e. outside of their usual workspace)?
  • What will be the top priorities for your UK offices in the future?

Here are three good reasons to attend this event:

  • Hear from Dr Martin Stow, Chairman and Director, Nexus (University of Leeds) who will share his perspective on the big issues facing business in the context of the future of work
  • Receive the latest CBI Economic findings and analysis from Anna Leach, Deputy Chief Economist, CBI on how the outcomes of research can help businesses
  • Share best practice and learnings on the +/- COVID-19 impacts on your organisation.

You will particularly benefit from this event if you are a:

  • Business Leader / CEO / COO
  • Strategy VP / Director
  • HR Director
  • Government Affairs / Corporate Affairs Director

We do hope you are able to join us for this cross-sector online event and invite you to register your attendance.
