How can we bring recovery to central London through culture and leisure?
The impact of the pandemic has left no part of the global economy untouched, and city centres in particular have been hit by new ways of living, working, travelling, and socialising. The potential for long-term consequences within London’s cultural and leisure industry cannot be underestimated should the pre-pandemic hustle and bustle of the city not return.
The private sector is essential to supporting this cultural revival. From owners of family-run businesses to leaders of the FTSE 100, London firms play a vital role in attracting people back into the city. Bringing activity back to London’s cultural hubs, entertainment and leisure zones, will ensure that the cultural infrastructure, which makes London so nationally and internationally attractive to office workers, students and tourists alike, returns.
