In May, the tragic murder of George Floyd in the U.S. sparked both social and corporate responses across the world, including the UK. In the following weeks and months, businesses up and down the country publicly committed to do more to create diverse and inclusive workplaces, especially for their Black employees. While there is a new and welcome urgency on the need for better representation in business, the challenge will be to ensure this momentum is sustained and leads to meaningful change.
