Preparing for the end of transition – spotlight on services

With the coronavirus pandemic having heavily impacted the UK business landscape, and disrupting operations worldwide, many companies are still fighting to survive this crisis, whilst thinking about 'what next?'.

The UK is heading towards the end of its transition period with the EU. From 1 January 2021, the trading relationship between the UK and the EU will change, and businesses will have to adapt to new rules and regulations. Join Josh Hardie (Acting Director-General, CBI), Rachel Kent (Partner, Hogan Lovells) and Chris Hearld (Head of Regions, KPMG) to discuss services and the end of transition, including:

  • The latest developments on the negotiations and the impact the end of transition will have on trade in services
  • Practical insights to prepare your business for the UK’s post-Brexit relationship with the EU
  • How the CBI is working with the government to prepare the services sector for this new relationship

  • Josh Hardie, Acting Director-General, CBI
  • Rachel Kent, Partner, Hogan Lovells
  • Chris Hearld, Head of Regions, KPMG
  • James Harding, Co-Founder and Editor, Tortoise Media (chair)
