State of re-opening: the global picture

With the coronavirus pandemic having heavily impacted the UK business landscape, and disrupting operations worldwide, many companies are still fighting to survive this crisis, whilst thinking about 'what next?'.

As the roadmap progresses and the vaccine rollout continues apace, the global picture for re-opening is less consistent. Join Anna Leach (Deputy Chief Economist, CBI), Callum Biggins (Director of Campaigns, CBI) and Guy Dru Drury MBE (Head of Group, Beijing, CBI) for an expert discussion on the global state of re-opening, including:

  • Updates on reopening, where we are on the government’s COVID-19 reviews, and wider priorities
  • Insights on the state of the economy in the UK and worldwide
  • Intelligence on global supply chains, trade and finance flows, and ongoing risks to business landscape

  • Anna Leach, Deputy Chief Economist, CBI
  • Callum Biggins, Director of Campaigns, CBI
  • Guy Dru Drury MBE, Head of Group, Beijing, CBI
  • Liz Moseley, Editor and Partner, Tortoise Media (chair)
