As world leaders gather in Glasgow for the highly anticipated COP26 fortnight, the CBI will be hosting a series of four hustings during the two weeks.

Each of the hustings will bring forward the business viewpoint on the key themes of the UK COP26 Presidency. These will be convened in the auditorium of Scottish Power’s headquarters in Glasgow and broadcast live online.

Our first in the series, in partnership with Legal and General, will focus on Sustainable finance in action. We will hear from a variety of case studies who have successfully raised finance, followed by a discussion exploring how increased private finance can be a key enabler towards achieving the global transition to net zero. We will also discuss how we can achieve international alignment across policies like sustainable finance taxonomies and disclosures.
