Policy Briefing on the East of England leading the way to Net Zero

We have a unique opportunity to lead by example and avert the catastrophic and, in some cases, irreversible impact of the rise in global temperatures as highlighted in a recent landmark report from the IPCC.

Climate change is not just morally and socially important, it is also now a genuine source of business value and competitive advantage. There are major opportunities for all UK businesses, from growing customer demand, lowering costs, new export markets, and job creation. Only business - in collaboration with the government - can provide the scope of innovation and investment needed to achieve net-zero.
