How can regions and nations access finance to drive growth?

Are you interested in building successful economic regions and nations and levelling up the UK? Join us to shape our Thriving Regions and Nations work by gaining and sharing insight on how clusters can help leverage access to finance at a regional level to drive growth, in association with Tortoise Media.

This event will focus on investment for growth and sustainability, including how clusters help to leverage the strength of the UK finance sector, building out regional business finance and helping firms across the UK access the finance they need.

Join us to discuss:

  • How the rest of the country can leverage the strength of the finance sector in London
  • The importance of having access to local and regional sources of finance
  • The constraints with accessing finance and how these can be overcome in a cluster
  • How businesses can collaborate to generate investment
  • Whether we have cultural barriers to accessing finance and how these can be overcome.

This event is invite-only and will be a maximum of 1.5 hours, including time for networking. Tortoise Media will be facilitating this session and there will be a write up of the discussion, as well as film and audio used to create resources for the Clusters Playbook, which will be built up as we undertake the roadshows.

Due to popular demand, we are currently at maximum numbers for this event. If you are still interested in attending please email the contact below and we can make sure you are on the waiting list. We are sorry we are unable to offer you a space at this time.

What is a ThinkIn?

A ThinkIn is not a panel discussion but a forum for civilised disagreement, designed to reach a better informed opinion based on the experience and expertise of everyone in the room. Together, we’ll aim to answer questions like: What is a cluster? What role do they play in the levelling up agenda? And how can businesses and policy makers work together to make them a success?
