Emma is CEO and Co-Founder of Timewise, the UK’s flexible working specialist. Run by a team of innovative thinkers and opinion formers, Timewise is on a mission to make flex the new normal and Emma leads on vision and strategy.
Timewise supports employers to design flexible solutions that attract, retain and develop the best talent through a range of methods, from conducting research and creating programmes for change, to delivering training and consultancy. It works with some of the largest employers in the UK, spanning both the private and public sector.
Emma is well known as a key opinion former, advisor and speaker on flexible work. She has contributed to numerous government taskforces, reports and initiatives, focusing on how to encourage more people who need to work flexibly into the workplace, shape the labour markets of the future and raise family living standards. Emma has won numerous awards including ones for social enterprise and innovation from the Observer, Nesta and the Institute of Directors, amongst others.
Prior to co-founding Timewise and before that, Women Like Us, Emma worked in a range of development roles across the private, civic society and social enterprise sectors and within documentary television.
