At the forefront of innovation in regard to diversity and social value, Raj’s team sets the benchmark for inclusive, fair and transparent recruitment practices and have won over 50 awards, including Recruitment Agency of the Year 2020. A passionate advocate of the power of diversity as a source of competitive advantage, Raj has championed the acceleration of high-calibre diverse leaders into some of the most senior executive and board positions with Green Park placing a diverse leader on a board every eight days through out 2019.
As a leading authority in workforce diversification, Raj has worked with and advised boards and change agents across private, public and third sectors. This includes acting in advisory capacity to the PM’s office and contributing to government backed reviews, such as The Parker and Hampton-Alexander Reviews.
Raj sits on a number of boards and is a Co-founder of the not-for-profit community interest company Race Equality Matters, a UK wide collaboration of organisations, employees and race networks to achieve race equality in the workplaces and launch the first national Race Equality Week. He is also the Founder of Mongoose Inclusive Cricket, dedicated to supplying cost effective equipment and making Cricket more inclusive and assessable.
Regarded as a champion for entrepreneurialism within the UK, in 2018 Raj was most awarded Entrepreneur of the Year by both the MSDUK Awards and Recruitment International Awards, named Business Leader of the Year at the IRP Awards and featured in The EMpower 100 Ethnic Minority Executives List, presented by the FT. Other accolades include: Recruitment Agency Leader of the Year, Lifetime Diversity Achievement Award and winning the Lord Noon Award at the Global Equality & Diversity Awards 2017.
