Head of Regions, KPMG
Chris is Head of Regions for KPMG in the UK. He is responsible for a network of over 20 regional offices and shaping the future direction of KPMG's regional business that provides specialist knowledge on audit, tax and advisory services to organisations of all sizes across the country. In this role he meets regularly with business and public sector leaders across the UK and is actively engaged in the regional rebalancing and economic development agenda.
Chris joined KPMG in 1992 and has been a partner since 2004. Chris joined our Executive Board in 2019. Chris has a background in Audit, with a particular focus on listed and larger privately owned businesses in the Consumer sector. Chris has been responsible for the audits of major businesses including WM Morrison Supermarkets, The Cooperative Group, Boots and Croda International.
Prior to his appointment as Head of Regions, Chris was Chair of our North Region and the firm’s leading spokesman on the Northern Powerhouse and regional economic development. He was also Senior Partner of our Leeds office and a member of the CBI Regional Council for Yorkshire.
Chris lives in York and in his spare time (and outside lockdown) is active in the local community as a member of the York Merchant Adventurers and as a sponsor and supporter of his local rugby league team.
