Finance Directors Network (NE/NW)

Following on from previous collaborations with the Competition and Markets Authority, we are delighted to be able to bring you a new session for the CBI Finance Directors Network this autumn.  

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is the UK’s principal competition and consumer protection authority, with a mission to make markets work well in the interests of consumers, businesses and the economy.  

In this session you will hear from Stuart Hudson, CMA Senior Director of Strategy, Communications and Advocacy who will explain how the diverse areas of the CMA’s work – ranging from its sustainability taskforce, through to merger control, banking remedies and consumer protection, relate to and can support business operations in the region. 

The CMA is expanding across the country with new offices in the North West (Manchester City Centre) and the North East (Darlington) and are keen to widen their network of local leaders.
