Government Affairs Network

CBI Government Affairs Network is returning in October, and we want you to be a part of it, to discuss the CBI’s first month of interactions with the government, under Chatham House Rule.

Fresh off the back of one of the most challenging starts for a new government in recent history, the CBI will be issuing a political download covering the unprecedented last few weeks and coming months. This session will deliver exclusive insight into the government’s current thinking and future trajectory, key takeaways from the party conferences, and thoughts on the measures contained in the Mini Budget. We’ll also look ahead to the next fiscal event, explore some exclusive YouGov polling on what the public think about the Growth Plan, and provide the CBI’s take on the biggest issues of the day – from energy security to growth.

Attend this event to:

  • Access CBI intel on government thinking and their future trajectory, from the CBI’s latest political engagements.
  • Hear about how the CBI is engaging with the government on business priorities
  • Get an update on our latest policy work from Matthew Fell, the CBI’s Chief Policy Director.
  • Understand how the public affairs industry is reacting to the political and economic instability facing consumers and business, with exclusive insights from GAN’s strategic partner Cavendish Advocacy.
  • Share your business’s perspective on the biggest challenges and opportunities right now.
  • Hear about how the CBI will drive our growth agenda, and how members can support this.
  • Explore what the public think about the drive for growth, via exclusive YouGov polling.
