Government Affairs Network

As we round off an eventful political year, our final CBI Government Affairs Network event is in December and we want you to be a part of it. We’ll be discussing the biggest issues of the day under Chatham House Rule and providing you with exclusive CBI insights into the third government of 2022.

We'll be breaking down the latest fiscal event, discuss how business can best impact policy decisions when the government has little fiscal room, and explore some exclusive YouGov polling on what MPs think about businesses' biggest policy priorities - from skills and innovation to decarbonisation.

Attend this event to:

  • Hear exclusive CBI insight into government engagement and look ahead to what’s on the political agenda for 2023
  • Breakdown the November Fiscal Statement with Louise Hellem, the CBI’s Director of Economic Policy
  • Discuss how business can best impact policy decisions when the government is pulling back on public spending
  • Discuss Labour Party engagement and agenda setting
  • Explore how MPs view business policy priorities, such as skills, decarbonisation and innovation, via exclusive YouGov Polling
