The CBI South West are hosting an informative discussion with Lord Karan Bilimoria CBE, DL this November.

Lord Bilimoria will share his unique insights on the current political, economic and business landscape. He will discuss the latest challenges and share how CBI is driving positive change.

He will also be keen to hear your views on his four priorities for his term as President:

  • The UK coming to the end of the post-Brexit transition period in December 2020
  • Promoting business and universities working more closely together, particularly in regard to R&D and innovation
  • The importance of entrepreneurship and SMEs
  • Promoting racial and ethnic diversity in business, and promoting Global Britain.

He is also particularly keen to hear from regional business leaders about their experiences and priorities in response to COVID-19.

An introduction to Lord Karan Bilimoria CBE, DL:
Lord Bilimoria is President of the CBI. He is the founder of Cobra Beer, Chairman of the Cobra Beer Partnership Limited, a Joint Venture with Molson Coors, and Chairman of Molson Coors Cobra India. Lord Bilimoria is the Founding Chairman of the UK India Business Council, a Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London, Chancellor of the University of Birmingham, and a former Chancellor of Thames Valley University (now the University of West London) - the youngest University Chancellor in the UK when appointed.
