As part of CBI Scotland’s series of virtual roundtables looking ahead to the 2021 Scottish Parliament election, we invite you to join Damien Yeates, (Chief Executive, Skills Development Scotland), to discuss how we create an education and skills system fit for the future.
Equipping people of all ages with the skills they need to succeed will be key to Scotland’s economic recovery and Damien will discuss some of the immediate, short and long term challenges facing Scotland’s labour market, as well as highlighting some of the potential solutions.
The event will also provide an opportunity to discuss the key business priorities for the education and skills system over the course of the next parliament and will inform the CBI business manifesto for the 2021 election.
We are particularly keen to hear from you on what skills you consider essential for your future talent pipeline and ideas for how we can make the system more responsive to business demand.
