In the Trade theme consultation, we will discuss the UK as a globalised economy. You will hear about prospects available to UK business in the government’s trade agenda, including progress on negotiating trade deals and where the big opportunities lie internationally. This session is suitable for companies large and small with an interest in expanding their global footprint.
For the first time we are looking to set out asks of business as well as the government and so we particularly welcome your input into what these actions and commitments should look like, and hear why international trade is crucial to your business’ growth.
In this session, you will hear from the CBI and fellow business leaders about the environment and opportunities for trade in the UK, and feed in your view on the key challenges and blockers to progress. You will also have the opportunity to shape success criteria, share ideas for what government and business could do differently, and highlight your own good practice as we look to profile where business is already leading the way.
Sessions are open to all CBI members. We encourage businesses to attend as many sessions as are relevant and welcome multiple delegates from the same firm as the input shapes the CBI’s workplan for 2022.
