We are delighted to be partnering with CBI member, the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA), to host a fringe event at the Conservatives party conference.
Unlocking enterprise: delivering a new partnership between government and business
With political uncertainty continuing to affect the UK’s economic growth prospects, now is the time for business and politicians to work together to seize the opportunities before us. By showing the world the UK is a great place to do business, equipping the UK to compete and win on the world stage and backing business as a force for good, we can build a prosperous society for every region and nation.
This year's CBI fringe event will look at how government and business can work in partnership to build a more competitive Britain by seizing opportunities and unlocking growth and prosperity across the UK.
Date: Monday, 30 September | 17:30 - 18:45
Venue: Derby Suite, Midland Hotel (please note this event will be held inside the secures zone which means you will need a conference pass)
- Dame Carolyn Fairbairn, Director General, CBI
- Tim Hames, Director General, BVCA
