SOUTH WEST PEOPLE AND SKILLS NETWORK

SOUTH WEST PEOPLE AND SKILLS NETWORK: SUPPORTING TALENT ATTRACTION AND RETENTION WITH PENSIONS AND YOUR EMPLOYEE VALUE PROPOSITION IN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH BARNETT WADDINGHAM

The pandemic changed how employees view the workplace. Jobs are more flexible than previously thought and this comes at a time when attraction and retention of staff is harder than ever. Now employees and candidates are showing a greater interest in pensions, benefits, and wellbeing.

In the midst of a cost of living crisis pensions can be de-prioritised and over looked by employees. Chaired by Sara Tomley, Deputy Director – South West, CBI who’ll be joined by Jennifer Beckwith, Head of Employment, CBI we will discuss the latest pensions insights and how that plays a role in the employee value proposition.

We are pleased to welcome Paul Leandro, Partner, Barnett Waddingham who will provide expert guidance and insight on the Gender Pensions Gap, the employers role in engaging staff in pension conversations and pension consolidation. He will also update us on the Pension Dashboard and how it will interact with total reward statements for your employees.

During this session, we will explore the following questions:

  • Has your organisations ESG strategy and the incoming Pensions Dashboard caused you to consider whether your pension offering delivers against ESG values?
  • Have you or are you planning to make changes to you Employee Value Proposition? What changes are you making and does that include pensions?
  • With Autoenrollment expanding to include to include 18 year olds, how are you engaging young people in pensions?

Here are five good reasons to join this network:

  • Expertise – it is an exclusive network for senior HR professionals and those with a major HR function in their job role
