Public sector procurement has the potential to create significant business and growth opportunities through increased participation for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as improving the public sector’s access to SMEs’ creativity and innovation. This session will give attendees the opportunity to hear expert insights on how SMEs can overcome barriers to participating in public procurement and top tips to bid for government contacts. Participants will have the chance to hear how the CBI is supporting SMEs and how larger firms are prioritising social value within their supply chains.
