The CBI Brexit team will update Northern Ireland members on the CBI’s work to influence the future economic relationship with the EU.

Following on from the important EU council meeting between EU27 leaders at the end of March, the CBI’s EU Negotiations team in London and Brussels will update members in Northern Ireland on the latest political intelligence from CBI meetings with ministers in the UK and stakeholders across Europe. The meeting will take place over lunch, on 11th April at 12:00pm in Belfast.

The team will also share the CBI’s reaction to the EU Council meeting and what this means for business in terms of transition and future trade to help support your company planning for Brexit Day 1.  This meeting will allow you to share business preparedness strategies with business peers from multiple sector perspectives.  These shared perspectives will also support the CBI’s discussions with government departments as we urge negotiators on both sides to reach a clear head of terms of the future relationship by October this year.
