The CBI are delighted to be holding our 2018 series of M Clubs in collaboration with Grant Thornton, which will now be known as CBI South West SME Network.
Through peer to peer learning, sharing of good practice and case studies we will explore current topics and identify practical solutions.
This event will focus on Business Ethics and Public Perceptions.
Business has never before faced such challenge in the public’s perception of the corporate world. In recent months these have been brought to the fore by news on mismanagement at large public contractors; inequalities in gender pay; exploitation; and excessive pay and reward.
We know these headlines are only relevant to a small minority, but the impact has ramifications for us all. Business is a powerful force for good, but there is a clear disconnect between what businesses do and what people believe. This club session will explore how we can bridge this gap.
