Meet the new chair for CBI Thriving Regions
The CBI welcomes Stephanie Hyde (CEO, Jones Lang LaSalle), as the new chair of Thriving Regions – bringing years of hands-on experience within regional growth and cluster development.
Thriving Regions is the CBI’s flagship vehicle for engaging with the government’s Levelling-Up agenda, ensuring every region has distinctive strengths to empower communities, reducing long-standing inequalities and boosting regional prosperity.
Stephanie Hyde, UK CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), will be the new Thriving Regions Chair –working alongside Ahmed Goga, Director for Thriving Regions, to engage with government, businesses and wider stakeholders across the UK’s regions and nations to help every part of the UK thrive. The CBI is developing its clusters work and thinking, to ensure businesses have the right support to grow and make the most of clusters.
Stephanie joined JLL in Spring 2021 following 25 years at PwC. During her time at PwC, she delivered growth across multiple business lines, developed client programmes in the UK and globally, and ran PwC’s industry programme with a key focus on technology, transformation and sustainability. She previously led the UK regional business for PwC and has been a member of the firm’s Global Leadership Team and UK Executive Board. Stephanie has worked with clients across a wide range of sectors from energy and pharmaceuticals to public sector and consumer products.
